The faculty and staff of St. Mark Christian Academy passionately desire to partner with parents in fulfilling our vision by seizing the vital teaching moments of the early years. The beliefs established in K3 through fourth grades are often the foundational building blocks upon which a lifetime of knowing and loving God are built. Because of this, our pre-kindergarten and elementary teachers intentionally seek to pour the love of Christ on their students through their interactions and through daily instruction.
Within this Christian environment, St. Mark Christian Academy provides a comprehensive academic program. We help our students develop a drive for excellence in an environment that provides challenges and differentiation. Our curricular requirements include reading, writing, grammar, spelling, math, social studies, science, character development and Bible. We accomplish these requirements by using Purposeful Design and ABEKA curricula. In addition to these content areas, our students attend classes for music, library, technology, the arts, health and physical education and Spanish. S.T.R.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art and Math) is an important focus at our school. All courses are taught intentionally from a Biblical worldview. Ongoing staff development is provided for our teachers to ensure they are equipped to meet the changing needs of today’s young disciples.
The Spirit of God clearly moves here as children are cherished, challenged, and discipled in a positive way. Each child is known, celebrated and most importantly, encouraged, to be all that our Lord created him/her to be. We offer a full extended school day from 6:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. for an additional charge. Normal school hours are 8:15 a.m. until 3:05 p.m. In addition, we offer a nutritious breakfast and lunch for all students, and a snack for students in the after school program or if you prefer, you may send a lunch with your child to school!
